Fuel cells and electrolysers will have an important role in our future energy supply and mobility. Production capacities are increasing and a high quality as well as a low production cost are a mayor part for the breakthrough of these technologies, for a sustainable future.
And fully-automated production processes can help to scale-up the production in order to reduce costs.
Our fully automated helium vacuum leak test station for Cell Impact AB from Sweden is detecting leak rates of 4,8*10-5 mbar*l/s (with 10% helium) with a cycle time of 12 seconds. Automation will help to increase the quality of the bipolar plates and to lower the costs at the same time.
